"Went with friends recently for a Xmas evening dinner. Cannot fault the service…very attentive without being overbearing…food arrived promptly…staff regularly checking that we were ok for drinks etc…professional yet friendly, a real good balance…food was very nice, no complaints…all in all a very enjoyable experience at The Falstaff"

"This is such a nice place to have some yummy vegan comfort food. I love the Scandinavian style and sort of minimalist space and the staff is super friendly. I ordered a sweet potato spiced bowl with chickpeas, avocado, kale and mixed seeds. Super healthy and tasty. One of the best vegan dishes I have ever had. We also had a cappuccino with soya milk and the milk foam was just perfect! Loved it. The only remark I have is that I just wished the waiter had asked me if I wanted chocolate sprinkled on my cappuccino. He probably assumes that everyone likes it and just went for it. This is just my personal feedback coming from my personal preference of course. Other than that, no less positive remarks at all. Strongly recommend it."

"We visited little ships restaurant and I must say that we both had a very pleasant meal. it was a warm evening, so we sat out to eat our meal. we were greeted and informed about the protocol re covid. then the waiter came back after he had given us a little while to relax. the menu itself was extensive enough to ensure a wide range of gaumen. we ordered the fish and chips that were fresh cod and wonderful cooked crispy and yet fluffy medium chips. it was nicely plated, the fish was a good size and everything went quite well. we shared a dessert that was a doughnut, stuffed with an ice cream flavor of a selection given and with tiny marshmallows. Well, what I can do, we enjoyed it too. it was a wonderful meal, the staff was friendly, fast service, clean facilities and we would definitely return for another meal."

"I wanted to eat lunch. of us, two breakfasts and plowers. it took an absolute age to come for the pflüger until at what time the other two meals were eaten! they were not busy, only we and another couple there. the workers were constantly talking to each other, one who made the breakfast, worked and at the same time spoke, the one who held the plower and spoke, apparently not in the position to assemble the meal and to speak at the same time. I constantly wondered where the third meal was and the gentleman was serving got quite eczy with me. I suggested taking it away in a Doggy bag, he wouldn't hear it. So, two companions ready to go, I sat there, icy eating my plowers as fast as I could! I destroyed the trip. bought half a bag of kartoffeln, a hundred weight) but the next day found twice the amount of a hundred weight) for sale in birchington for the same price. the products in the shop are very overpriced, who paid for a jam? tireless chairs too hard to move and a dog, beautiful, though he is that mourning ears every mouth they swallow. signs say not feed the dog, but he sits there to be fed! not the cleanest place I have ever eaten very expensive and slower service."
