"Firstly, I would like to say that the food here was very good. I had the burger and it came without the things that I wanted which usually don't happen elsewhere! The other five in my party had roast and were very happy.We were on a table in the lobby, which meant a cold draught when people went in and out both staff and customers. Not an ideal position for customers but I expect they were trying to get as many people in with social distancing rules.However, the covid awareness worried me. We were not asked to sanitise at any point and we logged in with the nhs app which was right next to the table where we were sitting but no staff whatsoever pointed this out to us and in the two hours we were there (The service was VERY slow), not one person did this and staff did not refer anyone to it.NOTE there is still a pandemic on and cases are rising: sanitising and tracing should still be happening.The waiter with the colourful waistcoat who served us thank you for the extra happy birthday' message on her dessert slate. Very thoughtful."
