"Went to the South Melbourne market early on Saturday morning and decided to try this little cafe for brekky. Sun was shining but boy it was cold and because we had our little dog, we had to sit outside. The heater was promptly turned on,...our pooch was given a drink of water and we had the most delicious coffee and eggs. What a gem of a spot. Everything was so fresh, nothing was too much for the staff who were excellent. Will go back again, and take our little dog."

"We went for a Saturday morning breakfast - it was crowded (Melbourne Grand Prix weekend). Staff seemed to be handling it all very well, and were efficient and friendly. The café is small and seating is relatively snug in certain areas. We would have liked a cushion to sit on to soften the hard wooden benches/ chairs. The menu was interesting - we had the smoked trout, beetroot style mash and poached eggs. Presentation and standard of cooking was very good. Coffee was excellent."

"Sham deal on every level. Buy a $9.50 burger and chips with a drink BUT... the drink costs an extra $4. The chips were poisoned with salt. The burger was small and the whole meal grossly overrated."

"Needing breakfast on a coolish Melbourne morning we decided to try this little eatery tucked away in Collins Street (Southern Cross station end). In a relaxed and unpretentious environment, we enjoyed great coffee, tasty food, reasonable prices and friendly and prompt service. Lightly grilled bacon, egg and cheese in Turkish bread for two and 2 coffees under $20! Highly recommended."

"First up the staff is less interested in listening to you then a machine is. Ordered a chicken burger because apparently there is nothing else and believe me it really isn’t good. And what fast food place doesn’t have straws. Personally I rate this place a 1 out of ten, on account the coke was cold and the paper bag was nice"
