"Simple review for this one. If you crave amazing burgers and fries this is the place for you. I have no issue paying extra for a premium burger if the quality is supported by the prices. In this instance, Five Guys easily sets the benchmark...in Ottawa for burgers. They accomplish this by allowing you to dress your burger as you see fit and by delivering a product on time, in a very timely manner. The staff were professional, engaging and eager to deliver the best burger possible. I highly recommend this place over the very bland, market saturated burgers."

"Five Guys is a great burger restaurant - food is delicious and the staff are amazing. Three of us went here to eat while we were in town and we weren't disappointed. The burgers are amazing - I really want to try a hotdog but I always end up ordering a burger when I go here. You can get burgers with one or two patties (probably more if you wanted), hotdogs, blts etc. You can get a lettuce wrap for your burger if that's your thing - I've had them before and they are enjoyable. The fries are great and you have the option to get them plain and cajun style - they're delicious both ways. The portions are insane - they fill your cup with fries and then dump more into the bag on top of them. We got a large fry to share between 3 people and we still didn't eat them all. The burgers are juicy and the bacon cheeseburgers are where it's at. You can pick whatever toppings you like on your burgers and they have the option for a works version as well. All the food is cooked to order so you never end up with heatlamp fries or something that's been sitting around too long.The atmosphere and the staff are wonderful - there's peanuts for you to munch on while you wait or with your meal. The people working when we went were very friendly and checked on us to see how we liked the food - something you don't expect from a fast food type place. Highly recommend this location! If you've never had Five Guys, you need to try it."

"This place is awesome . Look if your looking for healthy food then your going to the wrong restaurant . The burgers are nice and geasy just what a burger should be and they give you tons and tons of fries more than you can eat . Customer service is okay not great but really I am going for the food not to make nice nice with the girl or boy at the till ."

"When hubby gets a craving for a burger & fries we typically go to a Five Guys restaurant closer to our home in the east end of Ottawa. I like a grilled home-style all beef patty that isn't over-seasoned and Five Guys does do that part well however, I honestly never understood all of the fuss as I find the burgers/buns are soggy and the topping, well, they are underwhelming. Well, now I know. The burgers we got at the Hunt Club location were completely different. The same juicy all-beef patty, but the fixings were plentiful and super fresh and my bun wasn't soggy at all. Ripe red tomatoes, fresh onions and crisp lettuce - delicious. What really topped it off was the service - the fellow who took our order was terrific. Friendly, helpful, funny and quick. Couldn't ask for more .... well, perhaps that they turn their aircon and music down just a bit :-) I can't vouch for any of the other Five Guy locations but I would be happy to go back to the Hunt Club restaurant anytime hubby gets a craving."
