"Very recommended. It was my time here, and it was excellent. The whole little diner is so enchanting. The portions of the food were very filled and the chocolate cake was amazing! It was very moist and just melts in the mouth. The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything to enjoy our meal. We will come back soon and tell all our friends about this place!!"

"That was a nice place to lunch. I have the buffalo chicken pizza, and my partner got the mac and cheeseburger. they were both tasty enough to come back, although none of them was amazing. service was good. Overall, I would come back, but it wasn't good enough to be a regular place."

"Much better when it was Golden Skillet owned by the Koreans. I ordered a baked chicken dinner w/fried rice greens. The greens were recommended by the worker flavorless. I asked to sample a meatball. I gave a $2 tip for a meatball sample. Only to arrive at my destination and realize all meatballs were given. I called went back immediately. They corrected my order and still no meatball sample, partially pleased! The baked chicken is a lil slimey pink and the cabbage taste like water. The rice is the best part. Veggies need a lil salt&pepper. This is a lil embarrassing to be considered soul food?Here's the kicker... They actually took the meatball meal back! What are they going to do with it?After meal update:Chicken was delicious and very juicy but yes still soggy! I got my meatball sample and I'd definitely get that next time!"

"This is a great place to go and relax with a couple friends. What really did it for me and my friends was our bartender. We had Bridget most nights. This woman was absolutely the best bartender I've ever had. Even when it was busy she was on top of everything. Not only did she recommend some pretty awesome drinks, but she went above and beyond and even learned a new one for one of my friends. When I say learned it, I mean learned it. We went back days later and she still remember how to make it. She was funny, and knew how to banter and volley with her customers. Bridget absolutely was the reason why on our 3 week work trip, we continued to visit this place.Not gonna lie, we went one night and we had a different person. Think his name was Ben. He was not at all attentive, or maybe he was too overwhelmed. I don't know. Either way if that would have been our first experience, we wouldn't have returned.It's a good thing Bridget and Liz were our first impression of this place. It gave us a reason to go back. Next time I have a business trip in DC or a vacation trip, I'm definitely going back to see Bridget and Liz."

"Its not bad there unless you get the waitress from hell. She is the worst ever. She is rude and always has a comment saying she hates waiting on me. I told her i dont want her waiting on me anymore. If your lucky you will get the best waitress in the world. At least you will get a refill on your coffee and she will come back and check on you. Just ask for Tracey for good service."

"Ate here for lunch and it was like stepping back to the good old days. Not fancy. Just a nice family diner with good food that doesn't deplete your billfold. We both had breakfast skillets. Delicious and big portions. No fuss. Employee was cleaning the whole time we were there. Very polite man. Highly recommend"
