"My last day in Sydney visiting a friend’s studio in Annandale who took me to lunch. Nice building away from the hub. Appeared to be a former pub. The place was bustling with diners. Interior warm cosy. Exposed brick walls, ‘antique’ timber chairs tables. Its such a nice change from the cold concrete industrial decor that still dominates in cafes. The ‘Monogram L.V.’ upholstery on my chair was a hoot. I am assuming it was fake...<br/>My friend ordered the rosti with corn kernels served with sliced avocado, smoked salmon salad leaves. Thoroughly enjoyed by the speed it disappeared off the plate! I chose the cheese burger which came piled on a large open bun. The thick, well cooked patty arrived on a bed of slaw beetroot sliced topped with melted cheese three thick slices of pickled cucumber. It was accompanied by crisp roasted baby potatoes. I decided to use a knife fork on this occasion as it was impossible to eat it with your hands. The meat was moist juicy. I even enjoyed the pickle which was not too vinegary. The salad crisp fresh. I had to forgo the bun as the filling was quite generous. An espresso was all that was need afterwards to complete an enjoyable meal."

"The line took a while and the drive thru is no different. They know how to dom my sub real good and that's all that matters. Asked if I wanted my COLD cut TOASTED... Why would I want that.. jokes aside there understaffed but still did a good job trying to get the line across. Service: Dine in"

"It could have been decent bacon, but was very thoroughly cooked and rather chew. The egg was similar, although at least that prevented any leakage. The Ciabatta role was good, but only added to the dense feeling of it everything. No real taste in the...roll overall, not like the remarkable taste and texture in the reels at bowling on the Potts Point markets."

"The fritters are my favourite! <br/ Blueberry White Chocolate Fritter (4/5): The fritters basically taste like donut holes stuck together to form a Fritter what more could you want! The Blueberry White Choc is lovely because of the lashings of white choc sauce on top of a glazed fritter littered with blueberry bits. <br/ Apple Crumble Fritter (4/5): The caramel sauce on this is so buttery and delicious! It could use a few more bits of apple because it tastes much more like a caramel fritter than it does apple but hey, I'm not complaining. <br/ Fairy Bread Donut (3.75/5): The fairy bread icing is sooo creamy and lovely and it really makes the donut! The donut itself is nice and fluffy but not as delicious as the texture of the fritters<br/ Toasted Coconut Donut (3.5/5): The coconut flavour is there on the topping but not that noticeable in the donut itself. The shredded coconut gives it nice texture but as a coconut lover, I wanted more coconut flavour!"
