"My experience with this cafe was with take out soup, which was really tasty. Very cheap too. I can't comment really on what it is like to sit in, but they seem to have plenty of seating and any time I have looked in the...window it seems to be busy."

"On walking in the place smelt like a dirty toastie machine, despite it being early in the morning and the place empty. The floors were clearly not hoovered from yesterday and looked like they hadn't been mopped or cleaned in months. The seats I walked past were covered in stains and the staff were half a sleep. Despite being 9 days before Christmas they didn't have gift vouchers. I ordered a coffee and a tea cake and wasn't asked for my loyalty card, when offering my loyalty card I was told it was too late... A generally disappointing experience"

"Had not been in this high street coffee shop for a while. Today was very busy. My husband had the bacon roll, which was excellent, I had a cherry scone, sadly microwaved to death, served with small carton of tasteless jam and spray can cream. Teapots of tin variety that dribble everywhere. Sadly no attention to detail and not moving with times. Food on display dried up and curling at edges. Please someone help this place, has potential as in prime location but needs tapped into."

"My wife and I called here on the recommendation of a friend. We wanted a more substantial lunch than just our usual sandwich. She had the Chicken Maryland with garlic wedges which had a large chicken fillet with sausage, bacon, pineapple and banana fritters as well as peas and a wee bite of salad. There was a generous portion of large potato wedges doused in garlic butter. I had the breaded chicken goujons with chilli potato wedges which offered 5 large goujons with a wee bite of salad and a generous portion of large wedges doused in chilli sauce. This was excellent food at very reasonable prices and offered a very substantial meal. Very highly recommended!!"

"Had great hopes for our visit, but the price could not justify the experience. £27 for 2 sandwiches and 2 coks. eating was nice enough, but not enough to guarantee the price. I wouldn't come back."

"Fantastic afternoon tea today! Loved it also had afternoon tea here for part of my hen party which was also perfect! Most delicious afternoon tea I have had and I have been to many! Loved the endless refills of tea and the most delicious lemon Swiss roll!"
