"As an English couple on holiday we like our afternoon tea! This is a welcoming and comfortable tea house with an interesting range of black, green and even white teas and various herbal mixes. All we've tried were delicious...and also cheap by UK standards (1.50 euros for a pot). They also serve delicious local cakes and pastries, many based on almonds or chestnuts. There is a range of books and newspapers to browse. Altogether a pleasant and relaxing place...with one exception: the constant noise of pop videos spoiled the ambience for us; some light classical music would suit the atmosphere better. Hence 4 stars instead of 5."

"Even though it 's a pastry shop (apparently specialising in almond pastries), it has some types of toast on the menu. This is noteworthy because the toast is excellent *and* the full dose happens to be the size of a tray. Beware! Half a toast is the way to go, and even that portion is large. The 'house ' toast artisan bread, bacon and different types of cheese was very good."
