"Never called in before and we were in need of a late breakfast, needless to say we were not dissapointed. The breakfast was hot, very tasty and filling. What makes this a bonus is that we could take our dog in and she enjoyed a sausage. We will definitely be back to try more from the menu as everything that came out looked delicious."

"We had a great lunch here, for myself I had a lovely ham salad, the box was full, and there was a nice mixture of salady things( I would have liked some chives in the potato salad, but, hey I'm being picky). It was extremely good value, the covid safety values were high and being adhered to. All in all, great!"

"Really good value food. We both had a panini, served with side salad. No skimping on the fillings either and really nice coffee too. Thank you, we will be back. Waitresses worked especially hard as the place was really busy although it was only about 11.30."

"We sat outside in the sunshine. in front of the hotel there were many tables. I really can't remember exactly what I had to eat, but I know that I ate everything and made a mental note to write a good critique. I think I have a sandwich and salat and it filled my needs as lunch. my man had chips with what he had, and I helped me a few when they were the best I ever had."

"Homesford Cottage Tearoom is on the A6 about three miles from Cromford, in Derbyshire, where I have lived for over twenty years. It’s a lovely homely and rather quirky (in a very nice way) cafe. When I called in a few weeks ago the 60s songs that were playing matched well with the photos and bric a brac around the room. I say “room”, but “barn” would be a better description. Don’t get me wrong: it’s clean, it’s comfortable, it’s rustic. And the staff have always been friendly and welcoming. The food is good and reasonably priced. My “cafe quality benchmark” the scones – certainly impressed. On a warm day the outside seating is good, there’s plenty of parking and although it’s on a busy road it has never seemed over noisy. In fact its position is another asset. If you’re on your way into the Derbyshire Dales/Peak District for the day or you’re a biker on the Matlock Bath Sunday pilgrimage stop off here first before the crowds. It’s on the right about a mile after the zig zag crossing of the River Derwent near Whatstandwell."

"If they want a meal at the top of the height of abraham, there are only two options with the caffe under the restaurant. we booked in advance and had luck getting a place on the balcony. it's a bit of a tight squeeze for. three people, but the intention is fantastic and it was a hot day so I got a tan while eating. eating is cheap, but of variable quality. my wife and I had both fish and chips and although I was good, my wife was burned and there were not many fish hidden in the diligent."
