"Had dinner with my wife and a couple of friends at The Valley last week. Concept is great, Picking protein first, then pairing with a sauce and picking sides to suit (great selection and really tasty). Thoroughly recommend the steak (cooked really well) and the Pork Belly. All the sides we tried were really tasty, especially the Japanese Sesame Salad, Beans and the Chats. Service was great and the staff were really friendly and efficient. Will become a local favourite for me!"

"Both enjoyed lunch in this welcoming old-world cafe. Vintage china, great coffee, yummy toastie and delish soup. Other menu choices sounded good too.Easy parking. Have a look at vintage shop next door. In warmer weather the courtyard at the back looked inviting and cosy."

"Absolutely fantastic meal. I had the chicken blt wrap, with chicken schnitzel substituted for the normal chicken breast, and it was lovely. Friendly staff, spacious area to eat in. Photo of my blt all gone as it was too good to resist eating before taking a photo"

"So I was part of a function recently and before it started I walked past the kitchen window where they were all standing around doing nothing so I guessed everything was ready to go right , wrong , salt and pepper calamari, packet bought ...no salt , pork belly no salt , tough as a old boot , the carrot purée was nice except for lemon caramel, strange to the mains lamb shank with powdered mash or as we chefs call it smash no salt again and was grainy as hell , and the chicken breast was dry and sweet potato purée was boiled no salt no butter no love, I was so disappointed for my family it was a joke."
