"Two out of three had a good meal, tasty and reasonably priced but one had a fish special that was smaller than his appetizer and quite expensive. He was very disappointed. It was also very noisy. We probably won't be back but I am sure some folks would love it."

"Valentines Day date we love ZaZa’s. This evening was as most excellent particularly considering it was very busy. The sauce on one of our dishes did seemed to have been overlooked not added. This was a disappointment for the correction/sauce came as the dry pasta was almost gone using the moisture of the clams. Though occasionally these things happen anywhere."

"Nice informal place. They have a few solid vegan options. It is a hit with the kids. Not a health-kick, but a nice for the occasional junk food meal. Vegan sandwich waffle is fun and good with real maple syrup. The servings are a little on the small side, but the price is fairly reasonable. Food is ordered and picked up at the counter. 3.5 stars"

"Standard Qualifier, I'm a hard guide. Christmas is a very good place to eat, a long-term setting. This was our first visit to Brunch and we enjoyed our time and food this morning. We started with an excellent bowl lobster bisque! My wife had eggs Benedict with gluten-free toast. She said it was very good and thought the Hollandaise sauce could have been a little tangent. I chose the blueberries waffles with homeries. I added an egg over medium on the top of the domestic frits. The waffles might have been a bit dry. I'd get her back, only I would order without powder sugar and I prefer maple syrup. The middle egg was perfectly prepared! The service and waiting staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to visit and enjoy their many offers."

"I have lived in Ithaca for two years and this restaurant was the first time I felt I was a minority. My husband, daughter, and myself sat at our table for 20 min and no one took our order or bring us water. However, a white couple at the next table arrived later than us but ordered 15 minutes earlier than us. The waiters walked passed us multiple times yet they all ignored us. They wouldn’t take our order but took orders from people who arrived later than us. Many people who arrived later than us enjoyed their dinners earlier than we did, and we were the only ones waiting helplessly. We waved at the waiter, and they just told us “please wait,” but it seemed like we were the only ones who needed to wait. If you are not a majority, I strongly advise you not coming during peak hours."

"Tried based on promising menu. Reality was much less promising. At ~3:30pm (well after lunch rush), waited 30-40min to be seated at outdoor table, then after sitting down, another 10-15 minutes before a waiter showed up. Ordered, but were warned that kitchen was backed up so food would likely take 20-30min. Ordered, waited for things to arrive. Drink order arrived 20min after ordering ..and was wrong. Starters then arrived, though wer mediocre at best (the sauce for quesadilla was a bland meat broth). All the while, kept having to wave away the cloud of fruit flies (or gnats) and many wasps orbiting around the dirty-but-fragrant, food-stained outdoor patio (a pressure wash daily would be good, folks). Flies so thick that, several times, flies landed and became trapped in sauce of starter. Asked waiter to be moved inside to get away from the bugs...and while request was honored, waiter was quite brusque about it, and not in the mood to say, for example, Hey, sorry about the flies Inside was not much better--few tables had been cleaned from diners long since gone. Mains arrived...and were awful. For example, found that our Huevos Rancheros Enchilada which seemed exciting from the menu description, lacked 5 of the 8 main ingredients it was supposed to have, and was basically rice and beans with a single unflavored fried egg, and near-zero flavoring. To the owner/manager: putting waiters in this situation and compelling them to repeatedly apologize to guests with Sorry, we're [for the moment] understaffed is not a satisfactory answer. Don't seat far more guests than you have the capacity to serve--doing otherwise is cheating customers of basic good service. Misses on all fronts. Avoid this place."

"For a place in a small stripe mall, this place turns all expectations on its head. I have the ink paste and the mango salad. Both dishes are 10/10s. In addition to a reasonable price, I felt like the portions were big enough that the only appetizer and main course more than enough for my partner and me. Great food, I'd eat it again."
