"This place seems to get better and better. Great ownership, who make you feel valued. I've never been in without the management or ownership saying hello, or buying that complimentary shot. The food is amazing! The beer is one of the best in KC, but both are a close second to the unbelievable service. One of the best staffed places in DTLS."

"This is a smaller Hy Vee, but they have a good selection of things my wife I like to purchase. The pineapple brats are exceptional. I have been grilling them for years without a single complaint not one! People love 'em. The parking can be difficult at peak times, so I go during the non peak shopping times. The store is also open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We ate at the restaurant, which so many grocery stores have now. We went when the restaurant first opened, and did not care for it, so we never went back to dine there. While we do not drive there to eat, we do go there to buy groceries. We have used their catering service, which was very good. We have also purchased flowers, and even had them delivered. Top marks here, as well. I am not taking a star away for the restaurant, because we shop at Hy Vee for the groceries."

"I visited for the first time because I was craving seafood and it fit the bill! The service and food were both impressive. If you like good seafood, this is the place for you. Their menu is pretty extensive and creative in my opinion. Their lobster rolls appetizer was delicious. We also tried the hush puppies and those were less impressive. My brother in law and I both had scallops for our entrees and they were cooked perfectly. Their cocktail list was expansive and I tried the Blackberry Bramble Crush. Would recommend!"

"I love their New Yorker and my family adores the salads, we all love their sweet tea. I don't have anything bad to say really except when we dine in, they never fail to have a hair in the soup. It's not the worst thing to ever happen but now I'm the only one who gets the soup and no one else will touch it. The employees are incredibly sweet though."

"We love this place! After attending a fairly large college institution I was afforded the experience of eating many different types of breakfast foods. This is not your typical good ol' Midwestern breakfast. It is more of Mediterranean/Mesopotamian menu with hints of comfort foods. If you are going here to find a menu full of calorie busting, gravy filled breads and meats, please find somewhere else. I usually have the eggs Benedict and my wife the egg/mushroom crepe. Love this place! I will always go back here"

"Loved the atmosphere, service was attentive and so quick with everything we ordered. Food was amazing. Fried chicken, meatloaf, Mac and cheese, all of it was beyond expectations! Will definitely be back!"

"I usually only visit at night and the quality has been good... In the past I encountered problems with wait times in the literal hours but that doesn't seem to be an issue anymore. Glad to see that was fixed. Friday night wait was only about twenty minutes, which isn't bad.This used to be a mostly negative review so I'm happy to see an apparent turnaround. ?"
