"We have been to Dottie's several times now and it probably is my children's favourite place to go for a treat. They have a varied selection of milkshake flavours, you can have a small or regular size also so perfect for younger children. Then you can go extreme, for an extra £1.00, you can add a doughnut, cream and your choice of chocolate or sweets on top. Believe me they are huge! The choice of the chocolate or sweets is amazing, you have around 20 options. They sell really lovely coffee also and their food menu is great, good sized portions at great prices. This shop is really a lovely hidden gem if your wanting some nice homemade food or a tasty treat, great customer service and a very clean store, you don't need to go any furthur."

"We eat fairly regularly in this area, but one place on a main road is always far too busy and another pub has become rather bad food wise and is only now good for ham egg and chips. Travelling in even further into the depths of countryside we tried for the first time the Ashill Inn and were very pleased indeed we did. Excellent food, well served by nice staff. With such a nice meal we went ‘overboard’ and treated ourselves to an eton mess, which was lovely but we did feel rather well fed after it! It won’t be long until we will be back"

"Thanks very much for our lovely lunch. We visited this time with our 18 month old Grandson. He had a children's lunch and we had Moroccan soup and a nan and a veggie burger and chips. Rebecca Emma who run the shop cafe are really welcoming. As well as the food we entertained Grandson by playing with the toys provided and helping him draw on the chalkboard. The farm shop has a great range of fruit, veg and meat, mainly local in origin. It makes food shopping a pleasure. I've added a photo of the view from the shop."

"If you are looking for refreshments on the A30, then look out for this great cafe. It's quite literally less than a minute off the A30 and has very easy access both onto and off the road. Picture perfect with good parking. A simple yet perfect menu has something for everyone, and certainly my small breakfast was cooked well and enough to keep me going with a decent Americano."

"The staff are really helpful and accommodating. The food is fantastic. I can thoroughly recommend the Scotch egg, cooked to perfection, the burger which has fantastic flavour my mum said she thought it was the best burger she'd ever eaten, and the chocolate mousse is just sublime."

"Great place to stay! beautiful rooms all kept very clean. eating is really good, a longer waiting period than most pubs ive was too, but it is worth it! the coworkers all go beyond and beyond my partner was 50th and they arranged a cake for him. No reason for us to rent a cot that is not heard now! brilliantly with small children they let us change the dinge on the menu for our very fussy little boy. the staff treated us like friends, instead of guests. brilliant accommodation xxx we are coming back soon xx"

"Went here for lunch today with my mum and the portion sizes were very generous and it was brilliant value for money. We both had a jacket potato with plenty of filling and a good side salad. They had a great selection of food on the menu from light bites to main meals. The staff were friendly throughout our visit. They were very good at clearing the tables once customers left and quick to sanitise the table and chairs making it COVID safe."
