"An amazing Sunday Roast. Quaint little pub. Got a little lost as sat nav directions were not quite right but called and got the correct postcode. Staff were great, attentive and helpful, especially Joe. Food was amazing and plentyful. Highly recommend but make sure you book!"

"We chose The Harrow Inn for my fathers wake as Dave and Alison offered us the warmest welcome with respectful help. They were so accommodating and went over and above ensuring this occasion went just as we wished. The pub has a lovely cosy function room just perfect but we also had run of the pub. The finger buffet food was delicious. A very nice traditional country pub, thoroughly recommended"

"My wife,myself and our grownup daughter had lunch here a couple of days ago. The pub used to be called 'The Black Boy ' which my wife and I used when we were courting 55 years ago. Price 's have changed since then but first impression on walking in ,was it was like a pub should be. Basic furniture, spacious and welcoming. I found the menu a pleasant change from the usual pub menu, a little quirky which was good. I had Welsh Rarebit, my wife and daughter had Ploughman 's sandwich. They were brilliantly presented and adequate. The rest of the menu was interesting and made a good change from the usual pub menus."

"Visit usa and thought for a pub style lunchtime. this place was not disappointed. I ordered the blt that came on a large baguette with very thick cut speck. so delicious! fries were thick, large, square cut and cooked exactly. beer was cold and delicious. it really enjoyed this place. the personal was also friendly. parking can be difficult, but if they are familiar with the opposite, I think there are some hidden from street parking. can't go wrong with the rampart!"

"Before leavng Penshurst I stopped at the Porcupine pantry for lunch ... a bacon, brie and cranberry panini with a Coke and local ice cream. Delicious."
