"If you fancy a cozy cuppa with very friendly people serving and absolutely delicious cakes, then this is the place for you! They do really lovely lunches too. I had a really good roast here once and have had cakes and also a great Welsh rarebit. Amazing Lemon Meringue cake!!"

"This place is a real gem. As it was a hot day, we decided to take lunch out on the terrace. Lovely views of Bridgnorth and the food was excellent. We were paid a visit by Vic, the semi resident cat (named after the Victoria Sponge ! , but because of the warm weather, he was too soporific to ask for a nibble ! The staff are hard working and very welcoming, and we always return to what we believe to be the best tea room in town !"

"We had a lovely Sunday lunch..at a fab table infront of big byfolding doors..with a beautiful view. The waitress was as always polite and friendly..and i believe is the owners daughter. What a lovely young lady she is. The food was excellent. Freshly cooked and with a great selection of veg. Our friends were very impressed.. we finished by having our drinks outside in their lovely courtyard and garden area. With the beautiful Shropshire countryside around us.. how could you fail to enjoy yourself. We will be back."

"It's been a while this was supposed to be my birthday meal I looked at all the restaurants around Telford and choose yours So we arrived shown our table looked at the menu we ordered drinks then we ordered so I wanted the blackpudding scotch egg but was told we haven't got any because we was closed Monday and Tuesday so we haven't made this was Wednesday the first day of opening so you should have everything ready just thought that was a pathetic excuse so then I ordered the hanging kebabs with home made chips salad pitta bread and 2 dips my with ordered fish goujons the boys had ribs and a burger So the goujons came out they was chicken we said we ordered fish but the waitress had written down chicken ???? So we sent them back and wait for the fish goujons My kebabs came out well this is £19 meal kebabs where cold small handful of frozen cooked chip no way where they home cut chip so it put me off the whole meal just very poor after half an hour the fish goujons came out very greasy not good again when I set the kebabs back I was told I don't know how there cold but when paying for the bill I didn't pay for the kebabs I don't mind paying for a dish but it has to be hot and worth the price and definitely if your advertising home cut chips then they need to be I should know with 40yrs experience in catering"

"We stayed last weekend. The welcome was very warm. And all the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were fully of character with beautiful furnishing and very comfortable.. our evening meals was amazing. There was a wide range of dishes and everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Our breakfast was also delicious with local ingredients and homemade bread, black pudding and marmalade. This was our second visit and will be returning. Thank you Jane, Richard and stour lovely staff."

"Called in just as they were about to close and they were more than happy to cook us two mini fish specials. Not only did they go the extra mile in doing that for us it was also very delicious to eat. Will go here again next time I’m in Bridgnorth. Thank you all so much ."
