"Was definitely overpriced for what it was. A $25 bento as a “lunch special” is quite expensive especially for a small town like Steinbach. I paid $15.50 for a “creamy ramen” which was very similar to a linguine alfredo, and while it was delicious, I paid extra for the added bacon which only came with one strip of bacon cut up into approximately 6 pieces, and the bowl was only half full of pasta. Certainly not a good value for money, even though the flavours were good."

"Went because heard that the food was good. Went with a family member at the end of the lunch rush. We were rushed through our whole meal. Barley had time to look at menu before being pushed to order. Didn’t get refill for coffee or water without asking. When we got our meal we were maybe 5 bites in and was asked if we wanted a box to take home. Then felt like every 5 min after that they wanted us to leave. Felt very uncomfortable and unwanted. Will never go back"

"Spring, summer, fall or winter, the view from the massive floor to ceiling windows is stunning. The room is beautiful, not so huge that you can hardly hear yourself think. The food is amazing. The menu is not huge but there is plenty of variety. Whatever I have ever ordered... breakfast, lunch or dinner has been delicious. Great restaurant that seems to be somewhat "undiscovered"."

"The food here is always delicious and tastes like a home cooked meal. You are always greeted with friendly service. The restaurant is nothing fancy but has a warm feel to it and always clean. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Large portions and good value!"

"I have never been a big fan of wurst but the Livery Barn nearly changed my mind single-handedly. They have easily the best wurst I have ever eaten in my life. This is true old-fashioned continental European food of an unusual type, so I decided to have the sampler platter and it was well worth it. Every item was distinct and well-prepared. There's also a kids' menu for those with less adventurous palates. Located right in the center of the Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach, it's perfect for a quick stop in the middle of your tour, especially in the summer as it's the only building besides the main museum that's air-conditioned. Service could be slightly better but it's a minor quibble."

"We always get the bacon double cheese burger. This is the tastiest pizza I've eaten and we keep coming back. I don't even bother trying any other kind. I like the thin crispy crust where the topping is the star. Nice and cheesy too."
