"A good start to the day traditional cooked breakfast cooked to order. Clearly popular with local people, 2 of whom came in at different times while I was there and just ordered the usual which came with no further query. Prompt service, friendly staff, bright, clean cafe, good choice of breakfasts, light meals, sausage rolls, cheese scones etc."

"Every time I come in for lunch, I am never disappointed. The portions sizes are incredible for the value, with very reasonable prices. Fillings always lovely, tasty, good quality and well made. Every combination I've ever had has always been spot on. Who needs a meal deal when you have this gem in the middle of the thoroughfare. Loyal customer forever!"

"Beautiful place, I've come so long with my mom and her husband! Eating is great, service is excellent and they are dog friendly too! it is always where I decide to go for a walk, to come and have a drink: could not recommend enough!"

"Had a wonderful breakfast sausages (which I'm fussy about) and bacon were good quality. Took chocolate éclairs home for husband and son for tea which they loved. Would definitely visit again."

"Amazing decoration! a visit is only worth for the atmosphere, from the music to the mirror ceiling. without a book that had luck when others came after us when the tables were full. only cash, but the personal allows the order before it. to the cash point (a few minutes away, at Co-op). the service is not fast, but it is beautiful and fresh. the toilets were a bit a secret not hard to use ' and different warning signs, and could not find a flush button"

"Friendly staff and the new General Manager is doing an excellent job. It was good that locals also came into The Crown at lunchtime and in the evenings. The bedrooms and ensuites in the hotel are a good size, clean and well-serviced. Good choices of cereal, yoghurt and pastries for breakfast. Sausages, mushrooms and eggs were all cooked very well and there was a choice of other breakfast dishes. The Dinner Menu could be simplified. We thought the best Starters were the Mushrooms and the Smoked Salmon dishes and the best Mains were the Trout and Lamb 3 ways dishes. The Crown is within easy walking distance of the Woodbridge Tide Mill; one of only two in the UK. Sutton Hoo is about 10 minutes drive away."

"I wanted to go here since it was opened a year ago. I love smoked food and had high expectations. this place was not disappointed! the owner, tim, is absolutely charming, he is passionate about his products and nothing is too much annoyed. his wife has decorated the café room and it is absolutely beautiful. trendy, relaxed and absolutely charming. we had dinner, weeping, coffee and ice cream. I can't recommend this place enough and hope that they will do well in the coming years."

"Went for Thursday evening steak night. It was perfect. The steaks were incredibly tender and tasty, cooked brilliantly and the staff were happy to make swaps from chips to boiled potatoes last minute. Love this pub for its beautiful settings and great drink selection. Would also recommend the sharing boards for a light lunch. Superb and always worth the 1 hour round trip bike ride."
