"The loaded chips with cheese, jalapeño and bacon was good, however they were very light with the cheese sauce so I had to add barbecue and 1000 island because it was quite dry. Other, service was fast and friendly."

"ATOMOSPHERE : Lovely, so beautiful and big. Great to come with a group of friends. I think the space is so cool<br/ <br/ FOOD : I had the plain nachos and guilty pleasure platter and it was out of this world! You dont need to add extra chicken to the nachos, the plain ones are so tasty and filling already. The guily pleasure platter consisted of jalepeno poppers, mac bacon and cheese balls and party parcels.<br/ Mac and cheese balls were not the best but it was still yummy and almost tasted potatoe like.<br/ The party parcels were bomb AF! Filled with cheese and jalepeno wrapped in phyllo so freaking good!<br/ <br/ Most of the table had burgers and the remarks were that it was bland, the patties had no seasoning and despite the sauces it was still tasteless.<br/ <br/ DRINKS : Happy hour does not include cocktails here. Only selected beer and wine.<br/ My cocktail (summer fruit collins) was so watery really underwhelming."

"Having been to many doppio’s in Johannesburg, I was extremely thrilled when I saw they were coming to Stellenbosch. The first time I ate here I wanted to review the restaurant but they didn’t have a Zomato page so I emailed them asking to set it up. <br/ <br/ I went back and saw they had done so! I am happy to say it was still an excellent experience. I had breakfast on my own and sat at a corner table to do some work. I had two waitresses that worked as a team to cover my table and they were delightfully cheerful for so early in the morning. They even provided suggestions for my meal and which extras I should add to my simple breakfast. When I finished and moved my plate to the side, one of the ladies promptly came over to clear my table. I didn’t even know she was watching, it’s not always nice when waitstaff stare at you but this was done in a very good way as she stood a fair distance away. The manager checked on me as well. I felt like I was really looked after here. They even made sure I ate my sweetie that came with the bill. They were lovely, cannot say this enough! <br/ <br/ I had an americano and the Pronto breakfast where I decided on scrambled eggs and extra mushrooms thanks to my waitress. The eggs were light and fluffy and each component of the seemingly simple breakfast had its own distinct flavour."

"After spending the full day walking around Stellies sightseeing, my friend and I were craving something sweet and a cup of coffee. <br/ <br/ Approaching from the Church street, we spotted the 'Truth coffee ' umbrellas in the distance and decided to plant ourselves at Steam, before making our way home. <br/ <br/ Upon entering we noticed that the decor was steampunk inspired and so were the waiters ' attire. Wonder if they have any affiliation to Truth in Buitenkant street...<br/ <br/ Both my friend and I opted for the Nutella pancakes. Super delicious and served with a very generous serving of Nutella. Coffee was great too. <br/ <br/ I flicked through the rest of the menu and it looks very promising. I need to make a point of returning here for a full meal."
