"Really the best big English style breakfast I have ever had, anywhere in the world. It came with crispy (perfect) bacon, tender pork belly, fantastic locally made corned beef (maybe chef made, I don't know) and the most perfect hash brown potatoes ever. Golden and tasty and crunchy and soft! And the home built tomato sauce was unique. Topped off with a beautiful flat white, just perfection. My partner had the eggs Benedict and loved them."

"They offer vegan breakfast burrito and boron on toast options, plus they have vegan cakes and discs available in the cabinet. very friendly staff, plus there was a cute cat hanging around what a bonus was. a bit expensive, but there are not many vegan friendly places around so it was worth it."

"Seriously the best burger place I have been to in the world. I made my way through half my Hawaiian only because I devoured their pork belly side and halloumi chips, fighting over them with my partner, and couldn't fit it in. My partner is an ex chef and made happy noises. If you are traveling through NZ North Island put this place on your most visit list for the food. Just wow!"

"Great country pub. They do big gigs in the summer and it has a big stage area out back. Food is really good although there is no table service you order at the bar and collect your own food. Great atmosphere."

"Great food. We had the specials no idea what the fish was but the waiter’s description was spot on. Service was friendly and relaxed. We had to book ahead. Other restaurants would squeeze in more covers so nice to see they hadn’t. Good selection of reasonably priced wine."
