"They got some of the flavor elements right in their bagels, but the texture is way off. Like other Paris bagels it leans towards the bready. The outside is lacking the bagel "shine" and the inside is more crumbly in texture than it should be. I've never actually made a bagel, so I don't know exactly what is missing. We only got the bagels, so I can't comment on the other items. To be fair, these days even in NYC you can get bagels that aren't that great -- and they have changed over the years and gotten less dense than the bagels of the 1950s or 1960s. This one is a bit of another animal though. It is more of a bagel than other places in Paris I've tried, but isn't quite there."

"I went there this afternoon with my son. We were very well received. I took some very good lasagna. My son took a bag of poppy he loved. We're done with the cheese factory, famous. very good address in this street to many restaurants of all kinds."
