"Beautiful boutique, luxurious and friendly staff. Their macaroons are really good: I strongly advise! However: I do not share this opinion for their Basque cakes which are really very small and whose cream is almost nonexistent. The cherry is the one that gets out the best because the little cream with the little cherry gets married well and then the result is pretty successful, at least we feel like we have some topping. Now definitively: disappointed by the size of the cakes, it is ridiculous and very disappointing limit for a large house like this. We find much bigger and better stuffed elsewhere, no problem."

"This was referred to us by our hotel and we were so pleased. At the end of the street among some brilliant little eateries that could make a dinner choice difficult. Orders of Oysters, Grilled Prawns and Grilled Scallops were outstanding! So much so we had a second of the scallops and both declared they were the best we have ever eaten. Having enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the next night to do the same only with an addition of a beautiful calamari dish. Scallops again declared best ever!! If in Biarritz and after quality, no fuss good oysters, prawns and scallops- treat yourself here."

"We queued up for the 7.15pm opening hoping to get a table (really recommend you book and maybe choose a table you fancy?) We had eaten breakfast here and fancied coming back as that was tasty enough. The staff can seem a bit offish but it just seems to be their style, our waiter was just very efficient without wanting a lot of eye contact/chat it suited us. Starters were snails and the most amazing gravlax salmon with fresh ginger on a bed of something like meshed nutty seedlings as they say 'a taste sensation' Main, linguine with huge prawns and toasted crunch crumb topping and tender steak/chips/salad/Gorgonzola dip. Desert a fruit salad with so many different fruits and cream topped with dried raspberries and chocolate fondant with ice cream and a hazelnut snap wafer. We just oohed and aahed all the way through. Delicious!"

"We had brunch and a croque monsieur for lunch here and it was ok but a bit expensive. No chair for kids. Nice place to sit and watch the beach and people walking by. The brunch was quite good, freshly squeezed orange juice, baguette, croissant, fried eggs, ham tea and fruit salad."

"We spent an evening here eating outside, despite it being late October. The exterior has patio heating!Nice atmosphere, very 'buzzy' but not hectic. We ate a baked Camembert, Padron peppers, Patatas Bravas and mixed tapas - all enjoyable. The wine list is really good, they're serious about wine here.Service was friendly and on the whole attentive. The bill was sensible, not off the scale which many restaurant prices in Biarritz seem to be. Recommended."
