"This hidden gem has one of the most yummiest chicken avo baguette I ever tasted! Especially when they just finished baking the baguette (yes, in store made! . They have lovely sweets as well, and all round nice things. The staff are so lovely, one the thing I missed from working in Spring Hill. If I can give 6 stars or more, I would!"

"Full bodied flavorful bread finally arrives in West End. I was struggling to find daily freshly baked loaf nearby, where I can just grab a loaf whenever I want without planning ahead of traveling to somewhere else for it. Now it is here!!! Freshly baked daily!!!! You can see the lady working hard in the back kitchen with all those trays and flour goodies! (Plz i want a bread making workshop sourdough one : : : <br/ <br/ Have brought a loaf of sourdough last week and cannot believe how intense the flavor is. It is really really good. Plz trust my word for it. It might be a little heavy on the salt but once you pair it with others (like avos, eggs, salads etc, it is so right on spot . The crust is crunchy and the interior are so soft and FLAVORFUL. It is not easy to find a sourdough bread that reaches my expectations with the high level fermented taste, this one delivers.<br/ <br/ Just got myself another load of Turkish bread this morning. It is also very nice. I am so happy that I got a place to satisfy my bread craving (everyday . Alongside some naughty dessert (they yells at me from the cabinet and a so amazing look sandwich baguette for brekkie.<br/ <br/ Their food menu also looks fun, will try it another time. Coffee is little lite for me, would ask for double shot next time.<br/ <br/ Last but not least, the staff there are so nice and friendly. There is nothing better when the counter is not too busy, you can have a nice morning chat with the people there to get to know the new cafe. They are kind and helpful (ahhh, i have such a bad memory to remember the name of the nice girl serves me this morning. She is great. . <br/ <br/ But u know, u could met someone that is less cheerful in the morning (the one serves me last week???? But still, they are polite ."

"Picked up some goodies for breakfast to enjoy at the nearby Captain Burke Park. Our order:<br/ almond croissant, $5.60<br/ sausage roll, $6<br/ lemon tart, $8<br/ custard kouign amann, $6<br/ <br/ The almond croissant was good, but was wifey's pick so she had the bulk of it. I chose the sausage roll, didn't end up liking it too much but the son did so he had most of it. Just as well cos he chose the tart and we were dubious but he insisted so relented (felt a bit conscious about holding up the line), and in the end didn't like the lemon bit and only wanted to eat the shell!<br/ <br/ I added the kouign amann as I'd been curious about them from seeing all the pics from Agnes. This one here was a pretty different shape though. I enjoyed it but being my first one I don't have any baseline for comparison."

"Good little Cafe which is not stuck in food court which is good! They serve good coffee and some excellent Danish. My son thinks the ham cheese croissant was really good. Nice to sit at a table with good food good coffee and good conversation. Service was good. Ambiance was good. Will go again. I reccomend."

"After the brekkie at the Arlette’s Kitchen, I felt like to have a take away coffee for the journey back home. First one came up to my mind was the new listing of the Espresso Monk down the road so gave it a go. Unfortunately, it did not open on Sunday (a mistake from the Zomato site again! , then I search a replacement around the area. It showed that this renowned eatery was the nearest. Remembered I had a good experience on its coffee and a bad experience to have the first almond croissant in my life that was served cold. However, it has been three years and I only aimed to have a take away coffee so drove to get one.<br/>Upon arrival, parking area around was always packed. Fortunately, I got an on-road parking space next street opposite to the park so walked down to join the queue outside the cafe for take-away coffee.<br/>I purposefully went in and browsed around. There was nearly full house inside. That was what had happened in my last visit. The difference was the coffee that it served was so gooooood!<br/>It made my day!<br/>Previous rating: Oct 2017 3.5/5"
