"We needed an early morning coffee fix and tried Providore Amore. Coffee was perfectly brewed and beans fresh. Good range of deli items from around the world. There is good parking next door. We will definitely be back."

"Detailed service and friendly staff...best dinning experience I have had in a long time. If you come to Cairns, this one you must not miss out. Excellent food, tasty and well cooked. We came back for another time on the day we leaving, after telling the staff we are a bit tight on time, dishes came much faster. Very good service! Will come back again for sure !! Photo is what I ordered: fish of the day. Nicely cooked and tasty, good portion for me, maybe small or people who regularly devour 1kg ribs for one meal."

"Head here for a relaxed breakfast with authentic french bread and pastries that are of a consistently high standard. The coffee is excellent too. Great for bruch lunch and anything in-between, large outdoor seating area undercover with fans, a rare thing in the CBD. Well worth a stop or three."

"This place never disappoints. The service is excellent, prompt and helpful. The food is absolutely divine, loved it so much we brought the family to try and they loved it !! A relaxed atmosphere suitable for date night, catch up with mates or dinner with...colleagues. Coconut mussels and calamari were a hit this time around. We ordered everything to share and it was sent to the table staggered which gave us the perfect amount of time to enjoy the flavours and sip the icy cold beers. I wish we lived closer. We will most certainly be back."

"Firstly, living in outback NT, working for a company that only supply tooheys beer. you can imagine my delight when I walked into this bar and saw all the different beers on tap and on further inspection found that they had PINTS!!!. The joys of going on holidays. we decided to stay for a good old fashion pub meal, which turned out to be a great idea. I was devastated to find out they had no chicken Kiev's left, so I went for my next choice. The good old mixed gill. This meal was absolutely sensational. For my $36 (I think) I got snags, chops, steak and bacon all cooked to perfection, with chips that had a lovely spice on them and a very nice fresh salad and balsamic vinegar. To compliment the meat I had the best peppercorn gravy I think I have ever tasted. there was just one problem, there wasn't enough!!. excellent grub from this pub!! 9.5/10"

"We turned up yesterday and were 5 minutes early for our booking with our toddler. We were ignored by staff when we arrived. We were told very rudely by the staff member at the bar that they don't open until 5.30pm, 5 minutes later. We waited outside until 5.30 pm and were reluctantly greeted by a second staff member who asked us one question, but didn't seat us and was very unenthusiastic that we were there. A third staff member decided to seat us and was more professional but by that point we didn't want to stay because we felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed. We didn't mind waiting, just the vibe was really rude and unexpected. Went to another resturant along the Waterfront, where the service was fantastic and food was delicious."
