"As a regular who comes every 2/3 weeks for my take away lunch through out the 12 months of the year , I was disappointed to be told “ no availability for takeaway “. Happy to take my money rest of the year but because you were pretty busy , a regular take away customer has been turned away. Well that will be the last time I ever go for my lunch here. Not the nicest way to treat a regular customer."

"Disgusting customer service by one of the young girls that work here had an altercation with staff , she was really rude staring at just our family the whole time whilst paying the first bill she just held the card machine to us not a single word spoken , so i asked how much it was she said “19” … 19 what ?? The attitude was vile i said is that your customer service with every one , “yeh it is and what, it wasnt even your bill so whats your problem” , the food was undercooked the chips were pale , my sisters who both had panini meals are now ill , expensive for absolutely disgusting greasy food the childrens chicken nuggets were undercooked and soaked with grease so much it squeezed on to the plate the toilets were vile and the smell was horrible."

"We always visit this sandwich bar when in Castle Douglas. Sandwiches, whether bagettes, baps, ciabatta, are delicious and stuffed full of fresh fillings. Cakes, soup, hot and cold drinks and deli items also available and equally as tasty!"

"What a hidden gem. We have a caravan nearby and had came to Newton Stewart on a rainy day to visit the cinema. We had went to shops first at Aldi and Sainsbury's and spotted this cafe tucked in corner. They were welcoming and found us a table even though it was busy. We just had coffees n cakes but I spotted people with burgers and they looked amazing. My kids had milkshakes that came in old fashioned milk bottles and tasted amazing for £1.50 each they were a bit. The cakes were to amazing and massive. Definitely would recommend."
