"Came here for a family meal (6 adults) on a Tues evening in December. We were very impressed with the range of food on the menu (better than last time I think). The fish and chips was delicious and huge! Everybody enjoyed their food, and most were big portions (except the chicken satay). For me the only let down was the cider I just don't like the Cold River cider much, but I'm sure there are some who do. Note that if you have elderly members in the group who need chair arms to get up from a seat, the chairs in the restaurant don't have arms but in the other room there is one which does, so if you need that, ring up and book it!"

"I honestly thought this place was quite expensive and I popped in after I couldn't get what I wanted at cooplands. Wow such choice and amazing value. I chose the coronation chicken baguette and I couldn't wait to get home to eat it, in fact I was drooling before I sat down. Thoroughly enjoyed it to the last bite. Will definitely be back to try more on the menu. Very friendly and polite staff too this will definitely be my go to location from now on."

"My wife and I had afternoon tea on six occasions over the Christmas holiday and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea. Whether a tea cake and tea/coffee or the diet busting cranberry scones, cream and jam the food is delicious and reasonably priced."
