"The “21” owes its name to its location on the upper floor of the Kaiserslauterner Rathaus at a height of 72 m. The restaurant is located in 21. Stock! Last summer, my husband and I started the first attempt of a dinner here (without reservation). The Friday evening “After Work Party” was fully underway, so we were looking for a quieter destination. Panoramic views can be enjoyed from the large outdoor terrace. September 2017 Now my friend and husband invited her daughter’s birthday to “21”. Sunday evening it is pleasantly quiet there. We were looking forward to it. Five, we're on our way to downtown. Since Sunday night we even found free parking. Last year we felt that the construction was very unused at the end of the 1960s. Nothing has happened here for decades. I was hoping for the functionality of the elevator. The restaurant cannot do anything for these points, but the city of Kaiserslautern urgently needs to improve the appearance. Finally, the office is also in the building. At the top we were kindly greeted in the modern restaurant and accompanied to our reserved on the window. Our table was simple and clean with table runners and fabric napkins. "If you like fried fish as well as shellfish this is the best place to get it but reservations are a must, some staff are English speaking. The atmosphere is noisy and lively and full of big and small groups and families. The fish is fresh and the fried whole fish are very tasty. Shellfish includes pick and peel whole shrimp and mussels. The best is the combination served with small halves of boiled potato in olive oil with chopped onions and whole green olive. Platters fly out of the kitchen in a constant parade. While you are at it; order a bottle of the white wine to accompany the meal- it is light and slightly fizzy and crisp and reminded us of some we had had in Sintra.The service and quality of the food make this a true value for the price."

"The wine house Stepp! The small wine house in Kaiserslautern is very central. And yet hidden, often undetected. The narrow wine house is open over several floors and is located directly on one of the main roads of Kaiserslautern. A few meters you go to a small side street surpasses without car traffic.
