"Do you miss Paris? Go to Orsay. Looks just like a Parisian brasserie and the menu has all the favorite French plates. The dessert menu has every classic including tarte tarin . I had the profiteroles which were delicious. The service is top notch here and staff was friendly and professional. I will be back"

"When we got to the Hotel where La Piscine is located we were told that the restaurant was closed even though we had a reservation. We were however allowed to go up. Upon arriving a very bad smell met us. Heat lamps had been turned on full power and the climate was close to a tropical forest. The waitor who met us was dressed in a wool coat(! It all seemed so uninviting that we cancelled our reservation and went somewhere else to dine."

"What an amazing experience from start to finish! I came here with my husband for our anniversary and the team made it special from the start! We were welcomed at our table with a cute card and also a special dessert and the end. A few other couples around us were also celebrating anniversaries would highly recommend for any special occasion or otherwise, though! Come hungry, because the portions were generous. By the time I got to the main course, I was already getting stuffed, ha! All of the food was amazing but the highlight for me was surprisingly the gazpacho (and this is coming from someone who typically doesn't like soups)! Also loved all of the desserts, especially the chocolates. I've been to other Michelin starred restaurants in NYC but I have to say that Gabriel Kreuther may be my favorite to date!"

"I've seen this several times walking by and finally decided to try it. Made a reservation via Open Table same night which was great. Arrived about 25 minutes early and we were sat right away. The hostess was very friendly as well as the waitstaff. Order two glasses of white wine and I didn't take the name down. For meals, we shared the French Onion soup. Now you must love cheese...because it had the most cheese, I've ever seen on top of French Onion soup! I did like that there was enough cheese to have some in every bite..so no complaints here. Escargot was next up and tasty....the bread dipped nicely into the leftover butter sauce. The didn't have the pork tenderloin as stated on the menu, substituting with pork chops. I can't recall the last time I've had a great pork chop, it was delicious! And the sauce could have been more it was soooo good. Lamb shank was the second entree and didn't disappoint with the polenta on the side. Gravy/sauce was to die for. No dessert on this round...but I will keep in mind an try other items on their menu."

"The food was delicious! Service was wonderful. The place is definitely a lot of movement going on all around. Then again this is the west village. Service was friendly. Prices was a little crazy. I ordered the chopped liver as a snack and it wasamazing! This place is around the corner from the 1 train Christopher street station! Check this quaint and charmingrestaurant!"

"Serving staff are friendly and very attentive. They come wipe your table after every course. Delicious mini baguette. Good selection of Portuguese wine which I feel is a bit undervalued. Food is delicious but the prefix is not worth considering relative to the ala carte menu. The menu is a bit limited. Small complimentary pre appetizer as per desert is a nice touch. Pleasant environment with clean Scandinavian decoration. A good venue for a casual dinner. Recommended."
