"Attended the Summerlicious Lunch at Cactus First Canadian Place. Great atmosphere, service and Rob's Crispy Chicken Sandwich.... A MUST TRY! The sandwich was extremely tasty/ simply delicious. Even when you're not hungry, you will want to finish the sandwich! We had ordered the Brazillian drink (It tasted like mojitos, opt out Rum if you don't want alcohol), the drink was very refreshing!! We had seafood ceviche as the appetizer, Rob's Crispy Chicken Sandwich as the main course followed by desserts (Key Lime Pie or Chocolate moose). The food is also available on their regular menu. Highly recommend you to give them a try. P.S. If you're a tuna/or seafood lover, their Tuna Stack appetizer is also a MUST TRY!! Photos attached. Enjoy your meal! "The narrow front of this authentic Mexican restaurant hides a lovely, secluded back patio. Wonderful place for a Corona on a hot summer day. Good Mexican food. Recommended!"

"We made reservations here and arrived on time, but the hostess told us she'd have to get our table ready even though there were 2 other tables already set. While we waited those few minutes, though, another party arrived without reservations and were seated at one of the ready tables - a preferred spot near the open windows rather than the one towards the back which was being set for us. I thought that was odd, but as an older woman, I get that treatment occasionally (even in today's 'enlightened' world). I enjoyed the shrimp ceviche I'd ordered but the chicken burrito - which was more like a stew - was a little too spicy for my daughter; we both especially liked the guacamole, however. I'd ordered the Loco Margarita which I thought was too fruity and would have enjoyed a traditional one more. The restaurant is painted in vibrant, almost garish colors, and there's lots to look at which is good considering that the noise level was so high we couldn't carry on a conversation. Generally, though, the food is good and not your typical Mexican fare. We did have a problem with our server - she was very slow, and finally I had to remind her that we had theatre tickets that night, after which we had different people serving us."

"I had a bad birthday, had a long presentation at university. So my spouse decided to eat here. my day only took a 360 way. so awesome! I forgot to ask the name of the waitress, she was a joy. the food was perfect. I couldn't have been so good of hummus for a long time. my steak and ravioli bianco was so brilliant, I ended the whole dish (note: I am very picky, my man often has to finish mine.) Their cocktails are also good."

"Group of 5 of us recently visited Joey's Sherway for a Birthday dinner. Food was good, from the appetizers, to the mains, one of the entrees came with a side of fries, which were a little on the cold side, but other then that food was good, 4/5 on the food.As for the service... poor at best, which began when we walked in, had a reservation, and yet still had to wait 10 minutes for a table, when clearly many tables were available in both the dinning room, and the lounge. Once seated drinks... food... clean up... bill, all were incredibly slow, had to ask for drink refills, had to ask for water for the table, once we were ready to go and paid the bill, there were still dirty plates on the table, just seemed very chaotic, and as if nobody really knew what was going on... and this was on a night where it was pretty slow inside, wouldn't want to see the service level on a busy night."

"If you want prepackaged / frozen dishes, then yes, this is the place for you. I ordered a drink 5 minutes after the other two at my table and mine came out first. 10 minutes later theirs did (mine was rye n coke, there's was a wine and a beer....) overpriced with mediocre service at best. The table next to me (a party of 8 or 9) was delivered their bill, which did not include an automatic gratuity yet their server added it to the credit machine without giving them a paper copy of the breakdown. An argument ensued. It made my dining experience even worse as I had the same server..... will never go back."
