"We have worked together, some of us still do. It was nice to get together and have a chat without worrying about what we have to do next. The atmosphere is always great at The Crown, the food superb and the staff really good. Our waitress, Lisa, looked after us."

"I’ve made 2 recent visits for lunch due to working locally. Delicious chicken ham pie with mash veg. Just a shame the staff aren’t particularly friendly but I’ve sometimes found that with places that have become successful and, in turn, complacent. Why? On both visits the waitress with dark hair seemed particularly full of herself for some odd reason but that pie was so yummy I’ll probably still return whilst the local job is running"
