"WOW I cannot believe it took 45 years of my existence to discover Roberta's for the very first time. The space is amazing, lofty ceilings, well spaced seating and the bar is centre piece to behold, so aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom is really cool, very clean and the decor on point. Great selection on the menu. My friend and I shared the charcuterie board to start. There was ample meats and dips, however two very very thinly sliced slivers of bread were not sufficient for the amount of produce on the plate. We both had veal for mains, it was cooked to perfection. Served on a béd of mash with silverskin onions and baby leeks, a total taste explosion. I was going to order the beef fat roasties and talked out of it and I'm raging because I just know that they would have been excellent. I love some potatoes with my potatoes me. I had the pear dessert. It was so delicious but I just didn't have the room to finish it. Our server was a lovely guy, very chatty and attentive. The experience was amazing from start to finish. I will be back to try some pizza the next time, it looked sooooooooo good."

"The Waterloo Bar on Baggot street was the first pub I visited in Dublin. It's really a very nondescript bar, but the food can be surprisingly good. Their fish chips, in the middle of the week, or towards the weekend, is really nice. I specifically mention middle of the week or weekend coz at the start of week, the fish could be a lil old tips from Anthony Bourdain : The beef slider is quite nice too, but was a little dry. They have a mixed grill board that has bacon, sausages, and pulled pork, along with baked beans and eggs sunny side up.
