"First off I LOVE Golden Corral restaurants. The Garland Texas GC was a HUGE disappointment. First the good. One of the biggest buffet selections of any GC. The food was decent. Now the bad which is a deal killer for myself my family. The place was badly ran down. The restrooms in both the mens womens were disgusting!!!!! Very unsanitary lacking paper towels soap. The plates were filthy. Everyone had to dig dig to find plates that were clean. Also, the steak guy was incredibly rude to my family and everyone we witnessed him interacting with. He would not give any other doneness level other than medium well to well done. When asked for rare he would give a very mean look just give a well done one anyway. A little girl asked him very kindly for a slice of meat he was supposed to cut serve her and if repeatedly ignored her. I finally said “Sir she is asking you for a slice of ham!” He cut it more or less tossed it on her plate. Ugh!!!!"

"Was in the area for work and stopped by for lunch- had a 1/4lb of turkey, 1/4lb of brisket and a side of green beans. Green beans are your typical canned variety but were seasoned very well and a nice taste of onion and garlic and I enjoyed them. Brisket and Turkey were both very moist and wanted to fall apart when picked up with a fork. Sauce was mild, savory and delicious- not too sweet or too spicy. Very much enjoyed this meal and would eat here more often if I lived in the area."
