"This was my first time having shrimp and grits. It definitely will not be my last time. We took our food to go so I didn't have the eat in experience though they were equipped for that. They were friendly also. My husband had okra, greens and catfish. He was impressed with it all and being a country boy he was really impressed with the greens. I can't wait to go back. Oh and btw I never ate gouda cheese before and that was in my delicious cheesy grits. I recommend thisrestaurant."

"Waitress was great. Every order to perfection. Facility was clean. Plenty of elbow room. Smoked chicken very good. Okra seasoned perfect. Corn was exceptionally good. Brisket was a little dry, but still good."

"This is my second time here and everything I've tried so far has been great! The shrimp and grits is excellent, with grilled, almost blackened shrimp. The blue ribbon chicken is crispy, juicy and delicious, plus the pieces are enormous. Thank you to all the servers who go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. Saturday night we were surprised with live country music! Great place"

"This is the end because the place we wanted was closed. What a pleasant surprise. We ordered fish-shrimp tacos, the red snaps over rice, fried pimple, caramel key lime cake and a boozy frozen drink. It was all great. The sweet tea is probably some of the best we had. If you are in oysters, they have them for $0.79 each. Not sure if that was a special or regular price. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that, although our server was sweet, she always told us how tired she was, and once she asked about something she would turn and go without talking to us a chance or asking questions. I guess she's young and inexperienced. But she has great potential."
