"What a disappointment. Sunday Lunch with jazz was very poor both in service, food and value. Plenty of staff but none of whom seemed to have had any training and showed no interest in there customers, in fact they were very unmotivated. The Restaurant was cold due to the AC on in February, we were told it could not be altered!?! The food was only just average with bought in frozen starters and desserts and poor choice. The Sunday Lunch carvery was Ok although the roast potatoes had not seen any oven but a deep fat frier! A 10% service charge was added to the bill making the whole experience very expensive for what we received. I honestly believe the Toby Carvery down the road is 100% better quality"

"The Combination Won Ton Soup was Delicious. It arrived hot, and was very hearty. Plenty of meats shrimp and the won ton was prepared just right. I am a huge fan of wor wonton and combination wonton soups this was my first ordered from China Palace and I was not disappointed."

"Ordered a salad on one of the hottest days of the year. mayonnaise than anything else, to the poinbt where the croutons were wet and slimy. Barely any salad leaves at all, a tiny bit of tomato, soggy cucumber and tasteless red onion. All...for the bargain price of £9. Horrible, barely edible food. Could have something to do with having only three (lovely) staff covering far too many tables. I won't be back."

"Food was faultless. My only little whinge was it did take nearly 30 mins for our food order to be taken and at the end I had to go to the bar to pay our bill as know one returned with the card machine. . It is only a small thing and certainly didn't detract from an exceptional meal"
