"The grill seems to be restarted from 33 greenwich, but they still offer the hearty plate of the divine cocoscake. almost empty on Thursday before christmnas. teufelseier with a plucked veg were enjoyed by my companion, but my squash soup was too heavy on the cinnamon, burning all the others aromen. Chicken potcake had generous crust and tasty, although suppen filling. Crabcakes were cesty, but again the crispy crust held a very loose mix, seemed short on crumb. the prices were almost identical to what I had just paid in a 1 Michelin star restaurant, but not this quality. they have to roll back the cost of eating comfort!"

"No effort was made to recognize a birthday. No complimentary items. The food was bland and soggy. The busboys continued to bother us throughout the entire meal by taking our plates that still had food on it and we had to keep telling them that we were still eating. We felt like we were being rushed out of the restaurant even though the restaurant was only half full. Overall a very disappointing experience. Will not return."

"The ambiance is nice, but the food and service make the restaurant. I have been here several times, each time the variety of dishes, the presentation, and the flavor of the food has been excellent. Service was at a nice pace, not rushed, and the wine list was fairly priced. Overall I found it to be excellent."

"Came here with some family (including a 16 month old) over the weekend for an early dinner. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The music was a bit odd like top 40 from the 90s and early 2000's, which I usually like but this was like Smashmouth ... Food was ok I had the bratwurst and sauerkraut, we had the pretzel with beer cheese, the fried camembert. Two people had the weiner schnitzel and said it was really good. The potato salad was unappetizing, didn't like it at all. Soupy and gloppy. The brat was good though, just fine. Raddegast in Brooklyn has good 10x better, but this is good if you just want beers and snacks and don't want to leave the island."

"Really loved the loaded sweet potato as a shared appetizer, and the salmon entree- it was undercooked in my opinion but good. Recommend getting a res online because it generally fills up on weekend evenings! Good weekday lunch spot — the ancient grains bowl and Israeli salad are both delicious!"
