"Our first time a since we were celebrating a birthday meant it needed to be extra special an indeed it was. I wanted nothing but the best! And that’s exactly what we got. The restaurant and staff was every bit of amazing and they catered to us like no other. Delicious food! Top shelf drinks and outstanding service. I’m so glad it was our first choice. This restaurant is truly exquisite!"

"I was treated to Detroit Seafood Market 2 years ago and was blown away! This was my first visit, the snow crabs were the biggest and most freshest I'd ever tasted! I'd been trying my best to return but time just hasn't allowed, until Saturday. My husband (it was his first time) and I decided to go. I was very impressed that we could reserve online. When we arrived we were seated right away. I was a little disappointed that we weren't able to get a booth--which is the perfect setting for an intimate dinner. The host explained to us, in the future, I should specify when I call or reserve online and they will make sure a booth would be ready for me. I ordered the King Crab, and was extremely disappointed. The portion size was great but it had no flavor--tasted as if it had been over-steamed/boiled. I had it returned and replaced with the snow crabs, and requested that I have the honors of cracking them myself (I think this is why the King Crab lost flavor). The replacement was great, however, they weren't as large as my first experience. Our reservation was at 8:45pm, bad idea, because they begin turning the restaurant into a night club around 9:15 or so, which disturbed our nice quiet intimate meal. The moving of the chairs and tables made us feel rushed and in the way, although the friendly and accommodating staff kept assuring us that we were fine (Actions speak louder than words though). My last experience was the total opposite of my first experience. Overall, I would still recommend the restaurant, if you take heed to all of the prerequisites. I would return and give it one more try."

"One of the best old school, white tablecloth, rat pack era steakhouses you can find. Service is great. Love the bartenders. Live Jazz without cover. Steak's delicious. Get these oysters bc they won't make you wrong. Potatoes and mushrooms lubricated."

"We had great service! I like that they hav eat on contactless as possible, ie digital menus and bill pay. these very few Wore masks, I did not see any hands-anitary anywhere and the bathroom was unstoppable in the time they still have to be intelligent as a single person. the food and the drinks were very good. Happy Saturday is one of my favorite I would return to this place, I was probably not here in 25 years easy! it was completely different inside, lol"

"I am very impressed of this bar community involvement. I found out that it is ran by a African American Family for many years. It's connection to the community is very strong. Yesterday, my nieces and I enjoyed a back to school event. They provided entertainment, music, endless food, candy and backpacks full of supplies. The parents/guardians could donations for what they ate. The backpacks were surprisingly so very well equiped with supplies for school. My little ones were really excited of the whole experience. I am so impressed of their community offerings that I will patronize this bar again and highly suggest others to do the same."
