"Loved it so much we came back for more! Veysel is brilliant and very funny, he had a warm welcome which instantly made us smile and enjoy every second we spent in this restaurant. The clay pots were delicious! Not to mention the show that comes with it Also served the best hummus I’ve ever had. It’s all fantastic!!"

"A decent restaurant in Istikal Street. Mostly dessert but there are food items as well. I enjoyed my pie and strawberry juice..my dessert which was a chocolate ice cream sandwich was just ok. Some of the servers were quite nice but I got a slight discriminatory feel from others towards me. Also wouldn't recommend if you are a non smoker to sit upstairs...lots of smoke."

"Extremely flavorful kebabs! Must try the adana lamb and chicken kabobs. Best meal we have had in Istanbul so far!! Very friendly staff and the rooftop dining was very nice. We will certainly come back. Highly recommend stopping into the spice and baklava shop next door."

"We stumbled upon to this amazing restaurant by chance and surprisingly had a delicious experience. Our server was very friendly and recommended us one the traditional dish Tavuk Testi Kebabi. It turned out to be quite interesting and tasty dish. The whole experience made us comfortable enough to stay for few hours enjoying Sheeha, hot beverage and food. <br/ <br/ I highly recommend Serbethane if you are in old Istanbul."
