"I felt that the portion sizes kinda small but maybe that’s because im a big eater. Our waiter was really nice and very informative. He helped us order because some of the stuff we had never heard of before and knew what were the best dishes on the menu were. I order these ravioli like dumplings that were filled with a meat mixture in a great sauce. I also had a soup, which I never usually get at restaurants but our waiter said we had to try it. He was definitely right. The atmosphere as well made us feel like we were in a place that servicing us authentic afgani cusine. I loved it and since then I always ask my waiters at all restaurants about their soups!"

"Placed an lunch order for my office. Ordered 2 family packages that included two choices of protein, salad, sides and dips. The whole process from ordering it the day before to picking up the order was flawless. All of the staff was friendly and evenhelped carried the trays to my car. The food was of high quality. The lamb gyro and chicken souvlaki was phenomenal. Everyone inthe office loved it. I definitely will be returning for future business lunches and personal ones as well."

"We love our local diner! DHD is always a good choice. Large diner style menu with large daily special lists also, and full-day breakfast. We stopped at noon yesterday and had two specials, a spicy shrimp hero sandwich and a solid sandwich. Both were chic and tasty. (Dix Hills Dinner often throws some onion rings in Fritten, which is always a fun surprise. Our children split a chicken finger children? Eat. The kids? Meals all come with the option ice for dessert, and our server was so friendly that he had two meals ice cream, one for each child. The ice was also very good! Not only a cheap soft napkin, but real blades of quality vanilla ice cream. Everything is made clear with very high-quality ingredients. The taste is always excellent. If you?re in the mood for classic American diner style, I can recommend the Dix Hills Diner very enough."
