"Great little Turkish gem. It kind of felt like we’re dining in Türkiye. Food was absolutely delicious and the environment was amazing as well.Person serving was the probably the owner himself. Very nicely decorated with a variety of options.I won’t say that it was too reasonable given the portions served weren’t big enough. Would definitely recommend and stop by again if I’m in the neighbourhood"

"Shirin Kebab House is a casual neighbourhood diner in a strip mall. The ground beef Turkish pide is a cheeseless recipe, with a thin and light crust. The veal-and-lamb doner was a tasty bundle of meat packed into a cylinder of pita. For drinks, we enjoyed the cherry and pomegranate sodas in the van. We didn't try the baklava, as I'm allergic to walnuts.<br/ <br/ Tables and chairs are by the big window facing Eglinton. Families are comfortable bringing their children and toddlers. In the late afternoon, the turnover in clientele was relatively fast. During peak hours, take out would likely be more popular."

"I'm not one to write reviews very often, in fact I believe this is my first Google review ever. However, after visiting a place I've been going for years, today I was truly disappointed for the first time here. Anoush is situated right around the corner from my work so I would visit once every week or 2 to pick up a chicken plate. The food was always good, portion was fantastic and the price was very good. In the last year or 2, the prices like everywhere else, took a bit of a hit and that's understandable given rising costs and the current economy, but the portion never took a hit. Today though, was the first time I truly felt ripped off. As I ordered my usual plate, it's almost as if the servers count every single leaf of lettuce, grain of rice and piece of chicken. I left with a portion half the size of what I'd be given for years and to pay almost $15 for it is just insane. I shouldn't still be starving after dropping that kind of money on a plate of food. Needless to say, this will probably be my last time here, which is a shame considering it's one of the only options in the area where you can find something somewhat healthy."
