"This place was recommended by a friend and I finally got a chance to stop. that was terrible, there was food poison to me. I called the restaurant to report the incident that doesn't want anything back, nor a credit that the lady on the phone said she would notify the owner. the owner never called me back to check with me. let me tell them something owners, they should really take care of the health of their customers. if they don't care, they should just close their business; very disappointed with this restaurant and manageability. wake up and smell the coffee, it's not about money. learn how to communicate with their customers. Thank you for making me sick for a week. I do not recommend this place to anyone who comes from a professional chef! if they want to go good food to aya sofia restaurant, I have granted them that they will not get sick."

"The food was so,so,so GREAT. Excellent cevapi and doner.. and my mom had the bean soup with veal . The soup was also good because it came with some fresh bread and you can dung it in the soup.. wow I could just eat the bread with butter, like my Grandma made when she came over from Yugoslavia. And then to top it off was the desert..we had a special that the owner gave to us for free when she heard it was her 84th birthday..Fabulous place for lunch and Turkish/Bosnia coffee.. the sugar cubes have great flavor in the coffee"

"I visited this restaurant two times while in St. Louis for the Joyce Meyer Woman’s Convention. The good was outstanding. It was the best Gyro I have had in a very long time. Additionally the staff was awesome. They were very kind and friendly.I highly recommend this restaurant. Great choice of Mediterranean food."
