"For being in the middle of Germany, this restaurant has really amazing authentic Greek food! You really can't go wrong with any dish on the menu. The souvlaki and the lamb are particularly popular and extremely delicious. The staff is very sweet and accommodating ..even despite not really understanding my gluten allergy! The owner is really lovely. This restaurant is a neighborhood favorite. I've been many times!"

"Munzur lies in the hearth of Weimar, near Theaterplatz and Goetheplatz. My wife and I tried it on a summer evening when any other restaurant seemed closed (in Weimar, you know, you have to be careful about the closing time of restaurants! . We then learnt...that Munzur stays open 'till late. I will put it plain and simple: what a happy surprise it was! The kebab stuff is delicious: the meat is tasty and soft, and the accompanying salad is crispy. You also have a fair choice of salads, felaffels and pizza. As I was born in Napoli, Italy, I was quite skeptikal at first about eating pizza there, but I must admit that, even though it is cooked in an eletric oven and not in the traditional wood oven they use in Napoli, Munzur 's pizza is incredibly soft, even compared to many electrically-cooked pizzas you may find in parts of Italy outside of Napoli. To complete your dinner, you can have Beck 's beer, wine, and as dessert you may want to try baklava, which is a sweet pastry made with honey, nuts and other ingedients I still have to figure out. Munzur is often used as a take-away place, but it has a warm room indoor, and some outdoor tables covered by large umbrellas (they are not on the road, so it is a tranquil place to stay when it is not too cold outside . But take notice: sometimes you risk to keep waiting at the table indefinetly, so better you order what you want at the desk, and ask if they will take food to your table or you 'd better do it yourself. What will probably blow out your mind is the price: we ate until totally full, drank two beers and two glasses of red wine, and guess what? We paid less than 10 € per person. Not bad!"

"Wir waren bei einem Tagesausflug nach Weimar dort. Die Lage ist jetzt aus meiner Sicht nicht die Beste direkt neben einem Lebensmittelmarkt in einem Gewerbegebiet. Von Außen sah es auch nicht so umwerfend aus aber innen war alles absolut Top. Essen, Service, Preis. Wir hatten Tomatensuppe, Knoblauchbrot und zwei verschiedene Sorten Gyros und haben mit Getränken um die 40€ bezahlt. Der Service war top. Wir waren reht früh dort, als wir gingen saß der Gastraum voll und das unter der Woche. Ich gebe nur ein sehr gut und kein Ausgezeichent. Das hätte Service, Preis, Portion und Geschmack zwar verdient und das sind ja auch die Hauptkriterien, aber neben der Lage (die wenn man dort ist ja nicht meht nteressiert) und dem Außenbild (was auch nicht interessiert) gibt es noch zwei Punkte die mir nicht gefallen haben und die mich dazu bewogen haben einen Punkt abzuziehen. Zum einen waren wir vom Nebentisch nur durch eine Sichtschutzwand getrennt und konnten alles hören, rumgedreht natürlich auch. Dies ist wohl der hoheh Gastzahl geschuldet, viel Gast auf wenig Platz. Aber entscheidend waren für mich Abzügei in der B-Note bei der Sauberkeit. Jetzt nicht falsch verstehen, es ist nicht dreckig dort, aber so ein paar Spure n waren zu sehen. Nicht zum ekeln, aber nicht schön! Deshalb nur ein sehr gut. Ich kann es nur wiederholen Service, Portion, Geschmack und Preis sind mit Sicherheit eine 1+ und ich würde auch wieder hin gehen."
