"Delicious food at Arabesque! Started with Egyptian mint tea. My new favourite thibg. You can taste the fresh mint, it was lovely on a chilly evening.Portions are generous here ... We've been eating for half an hour and there's so much food left. Shared the Arabesque combo and got a little of everything ... beef & chicken skewers, shawarma, hummus, grilled eggplant dip, fries with a fantastic spice drizzle. Next time, I've got my eye on the tabbouleh ...Dessert was baklava, pastry stuffed with pistachios, and with a nice and not-overwhelming level of sweetness. Next time, I'll pair it up with Turkish coffee.The people at Arabesque were really helpful, explaining what was on offer, making good suggestions for tea and food, and encouraging us just to enjoy and relax - even after we had finished paying. Decor was nice, loved the wall hangings. A worthy addition to the Corydon strip, I'll be back :)"

"My husband and I tried this place after having a coupon that was printed on the back of our Safeway receipt. Buy one meal and fountain drinks and get one meal free. We both had the Opa platter. I had the shrimp and my...husband had the chicken. I really enjoyed the shrimp. There were on the skewer that were seasoned quite heavily with tangy spices. The rice was quite bland the potato was horrid (I have no idea what kind of spice was on this, but it was inedible). The pita bread was amazing, could have had a few more pieces. Next time, will order another dish other than this Opa Platter. My husband didn't like his potato or the rice, he will definitely order something else as well. The service was fast and the place was clean. We will be back to try something else there."

"I'm guilty of walking right place this place for several years, until I looked and notice the place packed with people and a line up at the counter. I decided to go a check this place out and was WOW'd! The people behind the counter (Rami) was so helpful and friendly and very informative when we placed our orders. Couldn't believe the portion sizes ( Lamb pita for my husband and falafel for me) The sandwiches were stuffed with amazing sauces and were super messy (loved it) When we went to pay we were given a taste of the homemade bakalava dessert.... amazing! Will be going back again and again! Not a fancy dining place but clean and so were the washrooms, prices were very reasonable, portions sizes were large, we walked there, but I can see parking could be an issue, but don't let that stop you from coming here! Highly recommend!"

"Julianna's seems to have been around forever. We used to go often back in university days about 40 years ago. Since then there have been several owners but the heart of the menu has stayed the same. Quality has remained great with each owner and prices don't seem to have changed that much in all that time. The decor and washrooms haven't changed either but that gives the restaurant its charm.Pizzas are among the best in the city. Real cheese! Is used. A large pizza with several toppings is $15-17 and serves 4 people for lunch. Add a shared Greek or Caesar salad and you have a delicious meal for under $10. We celebrated our son's graduation from university today. He chose the restaurant as we had gone there for his grad from jr high and high school. A bit of a tradition. We haven't been back for quite a while but today's meal made me think we need to go back more often. Jamaican and Greek good are also available"

"Ordered spanakopita and three chicken souvlaki tonight along with pita and tzatziki. Great takeout at reasonable price. For a treat get a bottle of their estate grown olive oil. Can't beat it."
