"This was our final hurrah! Final dinner of our month long stay in Lyon. Lovely restaurant, high ceilings, muted grey with splashes of colour. We arrived a few minutes before our 8 PM reservations and interrupted the staff having dinner. This surprised us a little....with customers expected wouldn't you think they'd be a bit better prepared? It was a few minutes before we received menus etc. but we were in a relaxed mood. The menu is short., three entrees, three plats. All choices were intriguing, not the usual. There was also an a la carte menu with a few more choices, but pricier. My appetizer, a shrimp salad was good, distinct Asian flavours. My husband's terrine was also good. We both had partridge as a main and this was truly excellent....served with the foot attached. Courses were served appropriately hot or chilled, nicely plated but not over the top cutesy. Portions were just the right amount. We both enjoyed our cheese course, three runny, ripe cheeses. No dessert for me but my husband's poached pear was delicious and unusual...served with vanilla soaked trumpet my mushrooms. The pear was a little under poached and difficult to eat. Quite a lengthy wine list and very affordable. There were only six diners so we were fussed over a bit. Service was charming and efficient. A fond farewell dinner was had by all!"
