"Went on a Thursday. There was a line, but once it was opened, the lines moved quickly. Our wait time was 45 minutes. The service was great. We ordered the pilipino breakfast and the kasama combo sandwich with Zapp potato chips (nothing extra special about the meal). I tried the hot kafe-mansi. I'm surprised that coffee and kalamansi blended well together. The baked goods were nice. The truffle croissant, black sesame macaroon, and the ube huckberry basque cake were extraordinary. The ube coconut ensaymada was ok. Overall, it served a delicious meal. I believe having the lines out the door and named a Michelin Star allow Kasama to command a high price. I'm not sure if it's worth it. At least I got it out of my system ."

"Magnolia Bakery in Chicago is a must for everyone with a sweet tooth. The café au lait is just divine, and I couldn't help feeling like I had a religious experience with every swallow. It was the perfect balance of bold coffee taste and creamy milk, such as reunification with old friends. But the real stars of the show were the cupcakes and brownies. The cupcakes were moist and tasty, with just the right amount of sweetness, and the brownie was incredibly decadent. Every bite was an explosion of taste in my mouth. However, the resistance had to be the cheese cake. The hands were the best cheesecake I ever tasted. The crust was perfectly buttery, and the cheesecake filling was smooth and creamy with exactly the right amount of sweetness. It was really a masterpiece. Overall, Magnolia bakery in Chicago is a must-seeker spot for anyone who wants to pamper in some delicious treats. Whether you are a fan of cupcakes, brownies or cheesecakes, you will not be disappointed. Café au lait alone is worth the trip."
