"A great little fish and chip restaurant, best for takeaway as it is a little shop though you could sit on the chairs outside on busy High Street. Delicious flake with chips is a standout and while not extremely expensive, there are better value fish and chips in the local area. Fish on High is definitely the leader though for taste and quality. They are also very well organised, giving you a number when you call and an accurate estimate of the time the order will take to be ready. We have never had an incorrect item in our order (other than an extra potato cake or two). They do have some vegetarian options though we have never tried them.If you like quality tasting takeaway and don't mind paying a slight premium for it then come to this little gem."

"I had 2 takeaway Thom Kha soups here. The wait was a bit long but my lord was it delicious. My date and I both agreed this was the best soup we ever had. It was clearly made with fresh ingredients as well. Yum! The day after we had Thom Kha soup at a different restaurant....not even remotely close to this quality. Well done"

"Jimmy Wong's restaurant is famous. It is in the heart of Footscray. Footscray is going upmarket, but Jimmy Wong's still serves traditional Chinese food at a fair price. It's more Australo-Chinese than anything else, but it's very popular. Jimmy Wong's has an ancient feud with Poon's -- try both and see which is best."

"This place is great and deserves more customers!! <br/>Went for the first time today and loved it! The beer garden out the back is excellent!! And the beautiful wooden tables in the restaurant are amazing. <br/>We had the veggie burger and OMG! It was DELICIOUS! It didn't have a conventional patty, but instead was full of beautiful roasty pumpkin, mushroom and capsicum with sauce and salad. It was great, and the chips were so flavourful. Great serving size!<br/>Staff were very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. <br/>I'm going to try to get this place more patrons because it deserves it!"
