"Stopped today for lunch to go, smelled cabbage when i walked in. Not a big cabbage fan but had to try the smoked cabbage, WOW! I 'M A FAN NOW! Wings were great. Tried to order banana pudding as a side but it 's not offered as side so opted for bake beans instead. When I got home I discovered a cup of banana pudding in the bag! And it was hands down, the best banana pudding I 've had, Ever! Can 't wait till next trip! Yours truly sweetheart"

"Wonderful atmosphere and food heaven! The food was fresh and so delicious! The waitress was polite and not pushy. The gentleman cooking steak was also helpful when requested rare steak. Hands down the best buffet experience ever! I would say they are theBEST buffet around!"

"We visited from the state and crossed knoxville a place to eat and found nick j’s online. when we moved to the parking lot, we knew it would be good because the parking lot was full. from the moment we went, we were greeted and sitting immediately. our server anthony was wonderful and eating was absolutely amazing. we enjoyed hearing the regular customers who interact with the personal, everyone had a great time. the food came in approx. 5 minutes piercing hot and delicious. we both have the meat lovers omelett, I added veggies and we had cookies and gravy. we were so full, we didn't eat. if we live in the opposite, we would surely be descendants! we will come a few times in the year after tennessee and make sure we come back to Nick j’s."

"Had a fantastic time. Got there at right before happy hour ended. Waiter was great in getting us drinks before it ended. Shrimp and grits were fantastic, however the online menu is out of date and says that there is a delicious Mac n cheese side on the menu when there isn’t. Would have loved to try it. Overall fantastic dining experience."

"We were not quite sure what to expect here, but it was great. The shares we "for the price and quality was great. The staff was really nice and helpful with our needs. My only suggestion would be to get more than 1 type of BBQ sauce. It has an acquired taste that not everyone likes. I think that's why most places with BBQ have a variety. The restaurant has a great view of the Tennessee river from the inside. There is also an outdoor dining option, but as not sitting there, as we said there was a limited menu. A great experience."
