"I have been eating at the green door for over 13 years since I was a little boy, I had been telling my girlfriend how amazing the food is, this week we flew out for the weekend so she could finally try. On arrival we was greeted by Francisco who has always remembered me and my family, he knows we love big fish and always ensures he has fresh, and different options for us to try. We had the delicious Garlic prawns to start, followed by the best sea bass you could possibly find, large enough for 2 to share. I have tried all the 5* restaurants in London and and nothing comes close to the green doors fish. To finish we had the traditional almond tart which was just as good as the main meal. I must have eaten in this restaurant over 20 times and it just gets better and better, thank you Francisco and family as always for your hospitality and amazing food. It's the number 1 seafood restaurant in Alvor, for me possibly no 1 in the world, I urge you too try you won't be disappointed."
