"When I was here for the second time at this weekend, I and my partner came for the first time for two milkshakes. they were amazingly good. but to go for eating was a problem....who makes the crepes with the long hairs please put them their hairs. in a hair net when they are made over the herde hovering where they are made!"

"So glad we found this shop as the food was amazing and the choice for vegetarians was brilliant. We were the last customers (tip don’t turn up just before closing time as they stop serving maybe 20 25 mins before to give them time to get existing orders out) and I’m so glad we just got there in time. Massive portions, crispy batter, freshly cooked food with a fun (slightly zany) atmosphere. Haddock, goujons, calamari , halloumi and onion rings were fabulous eaten on the beach just a 5 min walk away."

"Absolutely the best caffe in portslade. While I studied in brighton, my friend and I always went to eddies Friday for English breakfast or carrot cake/banana cake with ice vanilla latte. and the service is always amazing, they always get a warm welcome. 6/5 stars!"

"Service is the only thing worth coming in for to be honest. Came in last Tuesday afternoon and was served by a sweet young woman and a polite young man. Would have bought cake or a sandwich but not only are the prices absolutely extortionate, it just doesn't seem safe to eat here if you have dietary requirements... the products with meat were placed way too close to the cakes (VEGAN cakes too! it's enough to make anyone avoid the entire café... imagine how a vegetarian like myself must feel seeing sausage rolls placed on the same board as vegan items... More allergen/dietary care from the owner would be safer. The only things that set this café apart from any other one in Brighton are their extortionate prices, no seating, and the amount of old cakes probably hard enough to break cement. The staff were lovely though."
