"Great casual artsy atmosphere at this cozy restaurant. Food was amazing, these guys know how to fry the perfect flavour into anything coming to your table. I particularly recommend anything with the buttermilk chicken, very juicy inside but perfectly crisp coating. Prompt service was also great. portion sizes aren't huge but the cost does reflect this with a relatively inexpensive and easily navigable selection of food made with high quality ingredients. "We usually prefer some place with personal atmosphere and not place at mall. But this was our first all-vegan cafe in New Zealand, so we had to visit this. And it was absolutely awesome! Chick'n Burger and Chilly Filly Burger including fries were super big and Oreo Chocolate Cake was super tasty. There are so many vegan and gluten free options, we were like in heaven there!"

"I would like to come here for coffee on my last visit and now the café is listed on HC. I met friends here and came unexpectedly into a family. We sat in a stand in quite large, interesting space. Besides my two big oat flakes, I decided to try a slice of the banana walnut bread, which was not too bad. A nice social place for a coffee in a city that does not serve a large number of veg cafes that serves coffee."

"Nice, little coffee shop. My americano was great, egg benedict with smoked salmon was delicious. Most importantly, staff is friendly and smiley A bit noisy with load music and coffee grounder but part if the package."

"I went there with 2 of my omni friends. I wasnt quite sure if they would know what vegan is, so instead started ordering by asking for the things i know idont eat to be swaped or out, she quickly said “oh are you vegan?” when i said yes she was super confident making suggestions to make dishes vegan. Tried the vegetable fried rice(no eggs), vegetable chow mein (she suggested to swap the egg noodles for rice noodles) AMAZING chow mein with those thick ribbon rice noodles, and the fried tofu and vege dish. All delicious and good size portion to share. She also came to me saying they are working on a vegan menu! So will be looking for it next time i come down this way."
