"This was a long due in my wishlist. Finally there and what an amazing experience it has been! The interior is probably the first judgement point for restaurants these days and this one scores a perfect ten in that section. The Mama mural on the left wall is an eyecandy; the tables are adorned with cute prints and the total space is well managed. The framed wall along the staircase is an absolute treat to an artlover's mind. The culinary section has different shades of experiences and they are mostly top notch. They are served in substantial quantity and garnished with great care. Staffs are courteous; they will help you in choosing the best food for your palate if you bother to ask for it. This place also offers a wide variety of cocktails and in different experimental concoctions. Do try their Mama Gymkhana only if you are in love with a whiskey based cocktail."

"One of the very few places in the city which has healthy food options to provide without burning a hole in your pocket. Ordered spinach corn sandwich and green tea. Amazing food and above all amazing hospitality. Perfect place for meet ups."

"If you want to only eat biryani then go for this hotel, if you are not worried about the ambiance. Because the taste and quantity both are the same in restaurant and hotel but prices are much higher in the restaurant."

"2nd destination of my Pice Hotel journey by following Foodka's series I went to Jagatmata Bhojanalaya. A Bengali Odia hotel located at Kailash Bose St that is more than 100 years old. This place has some sweet memories in my life.<br/ <br/ A little history :<br/ <br/ I've been to this place almost 10 years ago with my Grandpa. Uff! those were days, holding his hand going to such places to eat, actually this place was introduced to me by my Grandpa only.<br/ <br/ Then somehow this legendary place got lost somewhere in my mind. Thanks to Foodka's Pice hotel series, all those memories just came back to my life once again when I revisited this place after all these years.<br/ <br/ Life now a days :<br/ <br/ Working in the corporate life, sitting in front of the computer for all day and living modern lifestyle, we Bengalis forgot our tradition of sitting on the ground. So when I saw a mat laying on the ground I sat on it and I've no shame of doing that.<br/ <br/ But that wasn't the case with everyone else. The Table Chair area was full and still people were waiting to get seated. Where as on the opposite ground floor sitting room was empty. Maybe no one really likes it anymore or I'm being little too old fashioned. Well! Thats how I'm.<br/ <br/ Traditional Bengali Thali :<br/ <br/ I was bit late to reach there around 2pm and I found most of the dishes were already finished for the day. So couldn't follow Foodk's recommendations this time but ordered other left over fish special dishes.<br/ <br/ Macher Matha Saag Chorchori<br/ Mourola Macher Aloo Diye Jhal<br/ Parce Macher Sorse Bata Diye Jhol<br/ <br/ How does it taste :<br/ <br/ All were having very distinct homely taste with the punch of green chillies. Served on banana leaf definitely changed the taste. You can choose Kasar Thala as well. Here the rice you get isn't the most thin fine quality, it's basic fat bold little too moist rice.<br/ <br/ Here Saag Chorchori wasn't as impressive as Swadhin Bharat Hotel. Mourola was definitely good but without potato it would have been great. Parce was deeply fried hence felt bit hard but held its taste.<br/ <br/ I was willing to try their Aamer Chutney, but unfortunately didn't got it on that day. Don't worry I've alternate surprise dessert at end.<br/ <br/ Pricing :<br/ <br/ This place is way cheaper than the last Pice Hotel I visited. Look at the wall hanging menu board attached with the review.<br/ <br/ My bill was only Rs.192 including all 3 fish items. But if you order some premium Bengal Fish like Chital, Pabda or Chingri that might cost you near to Rs.300 just for the fish.<br/ <br/ Conclusion :<br/ <br/ If you've came this long and waiting for my rating then let me tell you I'm no one to rate them. They're in business even before I was born. But I'll surely make a list of my favourite <br/ <br/ Wait wait wait! I haven't finished yet. Dessert is still remaining right? Just a few steps away towards Amherst Street you'll find Ghosh Co. And I think there couldn't be any better option than their Misti Doi to finish this journey."

"Drunken Monkey has is one of the most promising outlets where j have had Shakes from till date. Usually i visit this place after my college gets over so this one's one of the most promising outlet I have been to so far.<br/ I had<br/ Dry Fruit Sandwiches and A few Shakes, I loved the quality of the food they served me.<br/ And the service was real quick.<br/ <br/ Talking about the ambiance it was also very soothing. They also had many games which were very fun playing, like darts chess and ludo.<br/ <br/ The quality of Shakes are very high and the best part is you can also takeaway if you want to if you are in a hurry.<br/ <br/ On the whole this outlet is now one of my favourite outlets in town for Shakes."

"The Lords, one of the best places to hit if you're in lake gardens area, The Lord's offers you a great variety of Chinese and Mughlai delicacies. A good place to visit with family and friends. The ambience and hygiene make it worth your while.<br/ <br/ We had Blue Lagoon which tasted perfect. Later that we took Naan Amritsari Masala Kulcha with Fish Lajawaab, Murg Methi Masala, Mushroom Kadai Murg Tikka Masala. The fish was fresh and that dish particularly is the best of all that we ordered and the Murg Methi Masala was outstanding the methis aroma and the cream inside the gravey was just amazing. Mushroom Kadai and Murg Tikka Masala tasted good too but previous twos were the best of all. And the best part about this restaurant is all the items of this are cooked in olive oil. So that's good for health also.<br/ <br/ As always this has been the pocket friendly destination in Lake gardens area this is a must-visit for all foodies out there."

"I am writing this review while I am waiting for my sweet dish for last 10 mins which was ordered with a combo.... Quantity of items in combo is very less. Had to wait for 10 mins in middle of the lunch, for every item which should be served together as its combo..we were told to wait in middle of lunch as they were cooking rice. Pathetic. Price is not at all worth. Check the bowl for reference. For every dish we had to wait like hell even for last dish desert"
