"I'm not vegan but I found out they have really good veggie based alternatives to the usual stuff. I tried a banana burger (I was actually dared to) and was surprised to discover that I loved it. Excellent. Too bad they don't have an actual restaurant, they can be found at the TOSMA (Tiaguis Organico San Miguel de Allende), which is something like a farmers market in SMA"

"That is an ok restaurant, but a terrible Argentine restaurant. the chorizo, provoleta and other dishes are completely different from what they see in argentina. is an ok restaurant, but if they appreciate Argentine food, they don't go. they didn't even have a single dessert. dulce de leche!"

"My wife and I stopped by there for breakfast.. It's a clean, functional 20ft recycled shipping container painted bright blue (hence the name caja azul) with patio seating. I ordered a chorizo burrito (came served as 2 quesadillas) and my wife got the huevos rancheros with a banana smoothie. Good amount food, more traditional style huevos rancheros and my quesadilla was yummy. The kitchen was small and clean and the two women working there were pleasant and provided great service. I think they open at 7:30 am, which early for down here. Fairly priced."

"Fresh & refreshing, Josephine's is a magical little oasis offering innovative and delicious smoothies and frappés. With tasty concoctions like Mint Chip (my birthday favorite) to Mississippi Mud, Strawberry Cheezcake, PB & Banana, Blueberry Pie, Chai, Matcha, Pecan Praline, and more ~ this is a wonderful find. The staff is delightful. Located close to Via Organica, these tasty, delicious, cool, healthy drinks are a godsend to anyone, especially weary travelers. I even bought one for my Mexican taxi driver ~ his first! :)Josephine's is located in the very cool Colonia Guadalupe, which has a treasure trove of wonderful 'arte urbano' throughout."

"We’ve been here with friends and family many, many times and EVERYONE has loved the food that they ordered. The owner (Jose) has welcomed us with a bright smiles and open arms. The food is amazing and the prices are cheap. If you come to...San Miguel you must try this place. They are only open Friday and Saturday 9-2 and Sunday 9-3."

"This four table restaurant opened in early February and the chef serves authentic meals from his state of Chiapas which boarder Guatemala. The mole is the best I've had. Try the pork tostada. It is served with what appears to be pickled onions that compliment it perfectly. Dessert was either orange cake or chocolate with strawberry and kiwi. The decor is very simple but they have put their heart into their food. Heading down the hill on Conde de la Canal, it is on your left hand side. So small, it's easy to miss. Don't!"

"WENT FOR LUNCH - with some friends and it was a pearl of a find. It is just such a spotlessly clean restaurant. The owner couple, Carolina and her husband speak French, Spanish and English. They have a great variety of choices in crepes, and it was just so delicious. I skipped lunch and went straight to the dessert , caramelized apples and a soup of vanilla ice cream in a beautiful thin crepe. My friend had ratatouille crepe. The chocolatine croissant was delicious and so were the tiny quiches. All exceptional. You will not be sorry."
